Study of Culture, Food Choice and Sustainability

I am currently working on a  project  to study the intersection between Culture and sustainability, with a specific focus on the impact of producing livestock and livestock-derived products.  Currently claims from several reputable sources indicate that livestock are responsible for over 51% of anthropocentric GHG emissions. Such a claim would imply a paradigm shift in the way we view sustainability and what our priorities should be as advocates and practitioners of sustainable lifestyles. I am currently evaluating this claim by cross checking with other sources. So far the results have been promising, as these claims have sparked a vigorous conversation.

I will be posting updates as they come!
